How do aligners straighten teeth?

After your initial consultation, Dr. McComb and his team will create a customized 3D simulation of all the movements needed to get you from where you are now to your ideal smile. You’ll switch into a new tray each week, which will add gradual pressure and progressively move your teeth into their final position.

Are aligners covered by dental insurance?

Many people have orthodontic coverage as part of their dental insurance. If your insurance covers metal braces, it also covers Invisalign®. Our team will gladly check insurance benefits and submit claims to make the process as streamlined as possible for you.

How long does the straightening process take?

While there is a lot of variability across cases and types, the average case takes about 12 months. Some simple cases are finished in 4-6 months, while more complex cases can take up to 18-24 months. Will aligners make my mouths sore?

Will Invisalign work in severe cases?

Can I eat and drink with Clover’s Invisalign?

In a word, yes! You can absolutely eat and drink while straightening your teeth with Invisalign. So chew that gum, eat that popcorn, drink your (insert your fave beverage here). Just remember that if you’re going to have anything other than cold or room temperature water, we want you to take your Invisalign trays out before you do. Then just floss and brush, and give a quick rinse to your trays before you pop them back in.

The only thing we ask is that if you get Invisalign attachments, you’ll need to take care with anything excessively hard or chewy. Use your best judgment but keep living your best life. It’s that simple. No restrictions, no problem.

Is Invisalign more convenient than braces?
